dockside without dock! (or on a different screen edge)

Dockside is a great dock enhancement. It is also one of the best,

minimal “shelf” apps. I keep my dock on the bottom, but I’d love to have dockside come up on the right screen edge all by itself, and take as much screen real estate as I’ve got - instead of fighting with the dock for space. It could be a

separate operating mode, where a mouse to the right screen edge would trigger it.
